Our Story

Aurora Studios began its journey in the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington, in the spring of 2018. Founded by Sarah Chen, a passionate filmmaker and graduate of the prestigious University of Washington film program, the studio was born from a desire to blend technical expertise with authentic storytelling. Sarah envisioned a company that not only produced visually stunning videos but also deeply resonated with audiences, effectively conveying each client's unique message. The initial years were marked by dedication and hard work, building a solid foundation and earning the trust of local businesses and organizations. What started as a small operation quickly grew, attracting talented individuals who shared Sarah’s vision and commitment to excellence.

From its humble beginnings in a small rented office space in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood, Aurora Studios has steadily expanded its capabilities and reach. In 2021, we moved to a larger, state-of-the-art facility in the SoDo district, equipped with cutting-edge equipment and dedicated spaces for pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production. This expansion allowed us to take on larger and more complex projects, further solidifying our reputation as a leading video production company in the Pacific Northwest. Our commitment to innovation and adaptation has been a cornerstone of our success, continually exploring new technologies and creative techniques to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
